Travis invented COBRA software in 1986 and continues to be the industry leader for serious COBRA administrators nationwide. We recently welcomed the 501^st administrator actively using our COBRA software, up from 450 at this time in 2010.

We would like to thank each of our customers for your continued, ongoing support. Without you there wouldn’t be a Travis Software, and we remember that every day. Though we serve the entire COBRA administration industry, we work hard to meet or exceed the expectations of each customer and make them feel as though the software was developed to address their specific needs. Our COBRA systems are continuously enhanced based on suggestions from our own customer-base as well as changes to the laws and regulations so that all organizations can enjoy the benefits of industry-suggested and required functionality!

Travis has seen its software adopted by a large number of new administrators during the past year, and the company has enjoyed record growth. We now work with over 700 COBRA administrators nationwide, with more than 100 of them working with Travis for the first time since ARRA was passed in February 2009!

From its founding in 1986 through 2009, Travis relied on outside attorneys on an as-needed basis for assistance with the design of new systems, with changes to existing software systems, and with verbiage of various correspondences. Over the course of last year, as changes were made to COBRA by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (“ARRA”) and other rapid changes made to HIPAA, it became increasingly clear that Travis would benefit from having an attorney on staff to meet the increased pace of change regarding the administration of its systems.

With this most recent release of Travis Cobra our customers can expect the following added functionalities:

Travis Software has grown substantially in 2009, and as with most software companies both our customers and our staff have fueled that growth. We would like to thank our customers for their support of Travis this past year.

With the holidays fast approaching, we wanted to make sure all of our customers are aware of our operating hours for the next two weeks. Unless noted below, Travis Software will be open for our normal business hours.
