Since the beginning of 2011, in only 6 short weeks, Travis has added nine new features and capabilities to WebCOBRA®, making it even more efficient and beneficial to your COBRA administration needs. These recently released enhancements fall in the categories of general functionality, letters/notices, and reports.
Recently released enhancements include…
General Functionality Capabilities
- View previously printed Carrier/Sponsor Change Notices from Carrier/Sponsors’ new “History” tab from their “Detail” screen;
- Run invoices for all Client/Employers with a single click through the “Scheduled Invoice Generation Wizard;” and
- Mask SSNs for Participant Logins with a new Client/Employer option. With this new option, Participants’ private information may be protected from being seen by unauthorized users. With increased regulation relating to Protected Health Information (PHI), we think this is an important new capability for all Users.
Letters/Notices
- Display Participant Type on the Premium Coupon Set by inserting the new optional data element “Participant Type;” and
- Print a refund check for Participants who have overpaid premiums. A new letter template, “QB/Retiree Refund Check” was added to the Internet Word Processor (IWP) for this new feature.
Reports
- New “Administrative Fee Collected and Credited” report to show the administration fees that were collected from participants during a specified time range;
- New “Unapplied Premium” report to display a list of QB groups, by Employer, who have made payments beyond the current due date. This report is helpful because it can be used to identify QBs who are due a refund of premiums paid or to help identify premiums received that apply to future months;
- Schedule Report Subscriptions to be emailed any day of the month; and
- View emailed Report Subscriptions history via a new link on the WebCOBRA® home screen, “Emailed Report Files – View All.”
