Continued Enhancements in WebCOBRA
Category: New Features
Topics: capabilities, enhancements, webcobra

As part of our efforts to continue improving the WebCOBRA On Demand service, Travis has released several new enhancements during the last month, making it even more efficient, user-friendly, and beneficial to your COBRA administration needs.
These enhancements include:
General Functionality
- An expanded and updated WebCOBRA User’s Manual;
- The capability to indicate that a dependent of a QB is not eligible for a secondary qualifying event;
- The capability to preview checks in the “Premium Disbursement Wizard.”
Reports
- New “QB Termination by System Date” report, which captures QBs by the date their status actually changed to “Terminated” instead of the termination effective date. Now you can get a report of terminated people based either on their last day of coverage OR the date they were terminated in the system;
- Additional display options in the “Reconciliation by Payment” (Premium Voucher) report, including the option to “Group by Department,” “Group by Benefit Plan,” and/or “Include ARRA Subsidies;”
- New report, “Young Adults Potentially Affected by PPACA,” is designed to help administrators identify those who may be on COBRA now, but are under 26, and may be eligible to get back on their parent’s plan under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (the Health Care Reform Act).
State Guidelines
- Updates to accommodate the revised Connecticut State Continuation Guidelines pursuant to the CT Public Act 10-13, including updates to default templates for “CT Extended State Continuation Guidelines” and the “CT State Continuation Guidelines,” and a new notification process to notify applicable QBs of these updates.
Travis is committed to offering our customers the most current and comprehensive systems available.
