TravisCobra, WebCOBRA.com, TravisFlex and TBILL users can now use secure file transfer methods to send data to Travis and receive data from us. The new HITECH law requires that Protected Health Information (PHI) is transmitted using a secure methodology. Since the data sent to and from Travis in association with TravisCobra, TravisFlex and TBILL support issues contains PHI, and since WebCOBRA.com customers receive letters and data files containing PHI, we have now implemented “Secure FTP” (SFTP) servers to handle the sending and receiving of customer data .
WebCOBRA.com customers will need to make a slight change to your procedures for downloading and printing letters using the SFTP protocol. If you use the optional “Letter Robot” in WebCOBRA.com which allows your letters to be automatically downloaded and accepted so that all you have to do is print them, you simply need to change your procedure to log in to the SFTP server rather than the current non-secure FTP server. Detailed instructions will follow in a separate email which will deal with how to implement this change, and your current method of printing letters using the non-secure server will be available to you through April 30, 2010.
WebCOBRA.com Relational API users may also log in to the SFTP server to download your data. We’ll be sending you a separate email detailing how to modify your commands to accomplish the automatic download.
TravisCobra, TravisFlex and TBILL customers are now able to send data files to our Support Group securely, as required by HITECH, and we will return those files to you securely as well. Details of how to use the SFTP for customer data will be provided to you any time you need to send data to Travis.

Will Travis be adding the new model notices that the DOL released regarding the extension? Will we have a wizard to go back and send new letters to the individuals that appear on the new look back report?
