Travis has seen its software adopted by a large number of new administrators during the past year, and the company has enjoyed record growth. We now work with over 700 COBRA administrators nationwide, with more than 100 of them working with Travis for the first time since ARRA was passed in February 2009!

To match the growth in the number of customers, Travis has expanded the number of our employees by 40% during the past year. All areas of the company have additional employees, but we have focused growth in the Development and Support areas. Our IT area, which supports the two WebCOBRA.com offsite data centers as well as our internal servers, has also been beefed up during the past year. And our Customer Relationship group has been expanded as well.

The increased Development capability was showcased recently when the Temporary Extension Act was passed on March 2, 2010. Travis’ developers, working together with our new in-house attorney, were able to develop and test, and release new versions of both TravisCobra and WebCOBRA.com to all customers on March 8th, only four working days after the law was signed! COBRA has changed during the past year from a law that was rather static for many years to one that changes frequently, and our expanded Development Group has met the challenge of faster demand for updates.
