Enhanced ARRA Reporting in TravisCobra

Two new ARRA reporting capabilities have been added to the TravisCobra system within the past week, and we wanted to make sure that you know about them!

Having two ARRA reports that deal with payments may seem like overkill; however, the two reports are necessary. In one instance you may want to look at all ARRA premiums in a month, but you also may want to see all payments that affect ARRA subsidies in that month. We can now let you slice the data both ways.

For example, the ARRA Premium Report gives a snapshot of a current month. So if a PQB pays for May and June 2009 in one payment, one premium will show for May, and one for June. A

Alternatively, the ARRA Payment Report will take a snapshot of Payments received during the month. The same PQB’s payment in May for both May and June will show two premiums since it was received in May.

ARRA Premium Report

Obviously, the ARRA Premium report is not new, but what is new is the ability for the report to be exported to Excel. This added capability came straight from our users off of the Ideabook.

Tip: In order for reports to be exported to Excel, you must ensure that Employer Option I is selected.

ARRA Payment Report

The ARRA Payment report is a completely new report that was added to TravisCobra in version 8.3.0.20, and you can find this report under Reports -> Premium -> Q. ARRA Payment Report.

This report was added to show ARRA premiums by payment date; can be exported to Excel; and includes information such as the PQB name, event date, number of dependents, payment amount, premium date, admin. fee, subsidy amount, stimulus amount, and exclusion amount.

This added capability also came straight from our users off of the Ideabook.

Software Availability

TravisCobra version 8.3.0.20 is available now. A release email was sent to you with the FTP location to download this latest patch, which happens to be the same FTP location you downloaded all previous 8.3 updates from.

    I don’t see the new ARRA payroll premium reduction by payment report listed under reports.

    @Cindy: It is actually called the ARRA Payment Report in the menu. You find it by going to Reports -> Premium -> Q. ARRA Payment Report. Also, please make sure you are on TCFW version 8.3.0.20.

    I just realized this is for Travis cobra. When will the webcobra report be added?

    @Cindy: That report is currently being developed for the WebCOBRA.com system. We will keep you posted when it becomes available!
