Added Disbursement Options: New in WebCOBRA

WebCOBRA.com has always allowed you to disburse payment and premium amounts to Sponsor/Carriers or Client/Employers with the easy-to-use Premium Disbursement wizard.
Now, this process just got a little easier with the two new Premium Disbursement options that were recently added to your WebCOBRA.com system. Both of these new options will allow you to either include or exclude subsidy amounts in disbursement calculations and reports.

You would want to use these options to only send 35% of the premium to the client/employer and let the client/employer claim the 65% government subsidy; or, if you pay the carrier directly, you’d likely want to claim the 65% subsidy on your 941 payroll taxes.
Disburse ARRA Premium Reduction
When this option is set to “Yes,” the ARRA subsidy amount will be included in disbursement calculations and reports. When this option is set to “No,” the ARRA subsidy amount will not be included in disbursement calculations and reports.
Disburse Employer Subsidies
When this option is set to “Yes,” the Employer subsidy amount will be included in disbursement calculations and reports. When this option is set to “No,” the Employer subsidy amount will not be included in disbursement calculations and reports.
Software Availability
This feature is available now! It was uploaded through a hotfix on 5/7/2009 without any interference on the part of the user.

For our TravisCobra users, the system is already setup to never disburse subsidies, so TravisCobra users will not disburse out the ARRA government subsidy.

Off topic, is there a way to reimburse funds for just certain amounts due to ARRA approval and overpayment of premiums?

@Patrick: There is not a way to approve certain ARRA amounts. You either have to approve all or nothing.
