WebCOBRA: Re-Printing ARRA Notices

If you are using WebCOBRA and you want to reprint ARRA notices, you can follow the steps below.

For a group of QBs:

1. From the Home screen, under the Letters tab, choose Send Letters Manually to QBs.

2. From here, choose the Send Letter(s) to a class of QBs, such as “Send takeover letter to All Active QBs,” bubble.

3. Select what ARRA notices you want to send from the drop-down menu.
  • ARRA Open Enrollment
  • ARRA Enrollment Form
  • ARRA Request Letter
  • ARRA Summary Letter

4. Select Add Letter to Selection.

5. Continue steps 3-4 until you have selected all the ARRA notices you want to send. When you are finished, select Finish Letter Selection and Continue.

6. Select who you are going to send the ARRA notices to: QBs for All Client/Employers or QBs for a specific Client/Employer.

7. Select Continue.

8. Select which QBs from the Client/Employer group you chose will receive the letters. You can choose to resend ARRA notices for any QB Event Type you see listed, but the following are Event Types that will be particularly useful to you.
  • Events Post ARRA: Use this to resend to all QBs who had events after 2/17/2009.
  • ARRA Re-Notified QBs: Use this to resend to all QBs who were re-notified already and had events between 9/1/2008 and 2/17/2009.

9. Select Continue.

10. Review the QBs who are scheduled to receive the ARRA notices you printed.

11. Once you are finished reviewing, select Schedule Letter Generation.



For an Individual QB:

1. From the Home screen, under the QBs and Employees tab, select Qualified Beneficiary – View All.

2. Select the QB you would like to manually send ARRA notices to.

3. From the QB Detail screen, select the Correspondence tab.

4. Under Schedule Letter for QB via the Manual Letter Wizard, choose the ARRA notice you want to send.
  • ARRA Open Enrollment
  • ARRA Enrollment Form
  • ARRA Request Letter
  • ARRA Summary Letter

5. Choose Select Letter and Continue.

6. Review the QB and letter information you are scheduling to receive the ARRA notice manually.

7. Once you are finished reviewing, select Schedule Letter Generation.

    When using the manual letter writer for the ARRA notices, if we want to send notices to just the enrolled, because we have modified certain forms for that group to include special language, can we choose enrolled and it will genrate the letters for just the enrolled participants who fall within the 9/1/08-2/16/09 window or will it generate a notice to all Enrolled participants? Or are the two bottom buttons the only ones for the ARRA notices

    We had previously customized our default premium computation form and now it is not pulling the total premium and the reduced premium like I think it should… it only shows the reduced premium amounts and we will probably end up with more not eligible than eligible for the reduction – how do we get it to show both amounts?

    @Kelly: If you choose “Enrolled”, it will send a notice to all enrolled QBs. The bottom options are the only ones that are exclusive to ARRA.
