TravisCOBRA 8.50 is now available with the latest ARRA Enhancements!

With this most recent release of Travis Cobra our customers can expect the following added functionalities:

  • Missouri State Continuation, for groups under 20, has been updated to function as Federal Cobra would to allocate the same number of months for coverage for Qualified Beneficiaries.
  • ARRA Audit Report – thanks to a recommendation from one of our customers, a new ARRA Audit Report can be found in Travis Cobra Report module. The report will list all ARRA recipients and all applicable premiums, subsidies, and payment totals to make IRS auditing a little easier. A sample is shown below:

  • ARRA Appeal Process checkbox is now visible in the ARRA Actions section of a Qualified Beneficiary, that once checked will grant an additional 45 days from date of activation for the QB to pay and provide proof of appeal acceptance. The QB will not terminate during this 45-day appeal period.
  • End of ARRA is rapidly approaching, and Travis Cobra is again, ahead of the pack. A new letter named ARRA Subsidy Term Notice (fully customizable) has been added to the application and will automatically print when an AEI’s ARRA subsidy is within 30 days of the final month of benefit (the 9th month of ARRA). The ARRA Subsidy Term Notice will also inform the Qualified Beneficiary of their total COBRA premium without the ARRA subsidy.
  • 2010 ARRA qualifying events are also approaching and to allow our customers to administer these, there is a new option at the Client/Employer level. This will allow administrators to set whether or not ARRA will apply for QB’s with a first day after loss of coverage in 2010.

Stay tuned for additional updates and thank you for being a Travis Cobra customer.

I see there are two new letters in the updated version. One is the editable ARRA Subsidy Term notice. Can you tell me what Letter 75 is for? I see we can’t edit it, but I’d like to know what will print when. By the way…I love the color-coding in the new version!

  2. Debi Ostrom Says:

@Rebecca B Letter 75 is a letter that is specific to Minnesota’s State Law.
